Warranty & Materials

Materials:
802SAM and Temperature:    -SNAPPING-
Let it warm up.
When 802SAM is cold (below 50 degrees F) it can be broken like a cracker if you try to bend it quickly. Let it warm up and move it slowly before it is at room temperature (including coming out of the shipping box from a cold delivery truck).
You can glue 802SAM with 3M 777 adhesive. It is not necessary to glue layers together. 802SAM becomes stiffer in colder temperatures. This characteristic does not change the high speed impact absorption capabilities or performance in a significant way.
Body heat helps mitigate the changes.

Quality:
  • All the materials used in the Crash Pad are Military Grade and Hospital Grade.     They are tough beyond normal household consumer materials materials.
The outer covering and 802SAM materials do not support flame.
  • The outer covering is a special four way stretch material that is very tear resistant and wear resistant.   It was chosen to work in conjunction with the shock absorbing material.
  • 802SAM is a trademarked, proprietary Shock Absorbing Material.  Stitching is done with a heavy duty high grade military spec thread.
  • The Velcro used is a durable military spec material.  The product price is the result of using using quality, tested and durable materials.
  • Cheaper materials are a compromise in performance.
  • Materials and manufacturing are made in USA
